This is a map of where Ocean Shore biomes are located.
The Ocean Shore biome is located anywhere that the ocean touches the land.
Ocean Shore biomes have a warm season and a milder winter. The warmest month of the year is August with an average maximum temperature of 20.06 degrees Celsius, while the coldest month of the year is January with an average minimum temperature of 3 degrees Celsius. The average percipitation per year is 175.85 centimeters, and in the winter the average percipitation is 26.8 centemeters. Ocean Shore biomes usually lie on some sort of beach made of sand, rocks, or gravel. In the winter, the water gets cooler and in warmer months, there may be more precipitation.
Another thing that effects the Ocean Shores greatly is ocean currents. Warm currents are red arrows so the Ocean Shores are warmer. The blue arrows represent cooler currents so the Ocean shore is cooler. The ocean shore's weather also depends on what type of current is passing by. Two other things that can effect it are El Nino and El Nina which are like ocean currents except they are storms that move towards the Shores and overide any other ocean shore in it's way.
A map of warm and cold ocean currents around the world.
this is a world map with longitude and latitude
The Temprature of seashores varies on where they are located in the world. Seashores located near the equator will be warmer and more humid than seashores with higher latitudes. This is because the equator is the warmest of the earth.
